Holistic Healing - Energy Therapy

Energy therapy is a holistic approach to healing where the practitioner channels energy through the hands directly to the client’s body, which signals the client’s body to heal itself. The practitioner focuses on the minor and major chakras, although any part of the body that is hurting can receive treatment. Two forms of energy therapy are Reiki and Healing Touch.

During a face-to-face energy therapy session, the client provides an update on the issues to address and provides a positive intention for the session. The client then lies on a massage table fully clothed and enters a relaxed and open state. With the client’s intention in mind, the practitioner attunes to the client’s energy system and channels energy from the earth and heavens to the heart and through the hands. Remaining heart-centered through the entire session, the practitioner works from the feet to the head in Healing Touch and from the head to the feet in Reiki. Upon request, the practitioner can apply crystals to the client’s chakras that are specific to the client’s intention.
